Em tela “Morte do Leiteiro”: uma análise do centenário da previdência social no Brasil e a triste realidade do definhamento dos direitos sociais

Abstract

"Morte do Leiteiro" is a poem published in 1945 by Carlos Drummond de Andrade, depicting an indignation in relation to the social scene of the time, in which many served and few were served, bringing in its bulge existential issues. Already the year 2023 is marked by the celebration of one hundred years of social security in Brazil, through the Eloy Chaves Law. It occurs, as well as the death of the milkman, constitutional changes, through the constitutional amendment 103/2019, dismantled hope and celebrated the end of social protection, due to various losses to insured, with new rules for granting benefits. For the execution of this article, bibliographical and documentary research were used, using the hypothetical-deductive method. Thus, the problem focuses on the social problems caused by the pension reform, starting from the following research question: Does social security lend itself to its role of social security to serve workers? It is concluded, therefore, that the dawn of social security is the protagonism of the judiciary, celebrated by the important role he has played in the realization of social rights.
