Abstract

This text aims to describe (and defend) the unfulfilled project of a liberal Criminal Law, in the light of its most ambitious, impressive and well-finished contemporary attempt: the work (still in incessant and vigorous movement) of Luís Greco. To fulfill this purpose, we visit the honored author’s reflections on the three evils that lack justification in a liberal State: the evil of punishment, the evil of crime and the evil of the criminal procedure.
