Abstract

The article examines the Court of Justice of the European Union decision on Lindqvist trial, considered one of the most important judgement on the subject of personal data protection on the Internet, whose conclusions echoed in the European Union Regulation n. 2016/679 and, in Brazil, the Law n. 13.709 (LGPD).
